The White Wave Ethos

Since the dawn of time man has utilised the raw materials provided by nature for shelter, clothing and decoration. We believe that those earliest examples of adornment , simple jewellery made from rock, stone, seed pods, wood and bone are still the best examples of our natural creativity.

White Wave Jewellery and Crafts hark back to those days whilst adding our own contemporary interpretation without damaging or altering the integrity of the materials.

Only Natural materials collected from around the world are used in the presentation and design of these Items. Beach washed coral and shells from places as diverse as Costa Rica and Egypt. Obsidian from Iceland and the slopes of Kilimanjaro. Seeds, wood and bone from the African continent, and South American Rain Forests. Coins from Peru, rocks, fossils, crystals and shells from the shores of the UK and many other natural items from all over the world are all carefully collected and recycled to avoid minimum impact on the environment. These are then crafted into an item of beauty which is not only original but completely unique allowing the purchaser to own, give or wear a gift that is in pure harmony with nature and the earth.

In keeping with our ethos we also source items from local craft markets or families around the globe. We are also currently engaged in negotiations to teach local Amerindians in Guyana how to make jewellery from local materials and export their existing skills in sculpting Rain Forest animals and birds from Balata ( Rubber Tree ) to the UK.
